GAS EMERGENCY: LEAVE A FAUCET ON “DRIP” IF YOUR HEAT GOES OFF
If heat is shut off to your residence or business because of the current natural gas shortage, please turn on an indoor faucet to drip to prevent frozen and burst pipes.

Allowing a faucet to drip will keep water flowing and will help keep pipes from freezing.

If a pipe on your property bursts and you need an emergency water shut-off, please call the Water Authority’s dispatch office at 857-8250. Do NOT call 911.  Remember: Call volume is typically very high (as much as six times normal during the last cold spell) in extremely cold weather, so you may experience long on-hold times.
